Hamilton Medical Center is located in Dalton, Georgia. They opened in 1921 and was built in response to the flue epidemic in 1918. It actually closed in 1934 after a fiscal crisis due to the 1929 stock market crash. They were only closed for 10 months and were able to reopen.
